KCBJ Tours & Travel was founded by Al Purwa in 1983, after he thought he was ready to begin with his own business. Al Purwa already tried many kinds of tourism related jobs by working for other companies such as becoming a waiter in an International Restaurant, graphic designing, guiding for the largest touring company in Bali, F & B Department for a luxury hotel and becoming a sales person for a large boutique in Bali and in Jakarta.

Kuta Cemerlang Bali Jaya (KCBJ) Tours started with a small office with only 3 employees including Al Purwa. At this time KCB Tours owns its 500 M² office building with 45 employees. The office location is on the main street of Kuta and easy access from all parts of the island. This is a family based operational touch in giving services to valued clients, thus more responsible and caring.

In 1985 KCB Tours was accredited by IATA and since then KCB tours is noted to be a Top IATA Agent by most airlines that fly into Bali. KCB Tours is also affiliated to ASITA and Mr. Al Purwa is the Chairman of the Bali Branch. The other organizations that KCB Tours and Travel affiliated to are: PATA, ASTA and AMEX Travel Services. By carrying all those prestigious names of organization, our clients voted us to be a trustful and bonafide Travel office in the island of Bali.

Today, KCBJ Tours and Travel can offer you a complete Tours and Travel services. It has it own fleet of tourist coaches, mini vans, Mercedes Benz and BMW limousines as well as self drive car rentals. KCB Tours also built 60 rooms Aneka Beach Hotel in 1989 located on Kuta Beach just next to Hard Rock Cafe & Hotel, and for familiar atmosphere also built a Cempaka Bali Guest House with only 8 rooms with large garden and swimming pool.

In 1996, KCB Tours built Gold Winning Award accommodation villas on the slope of Batu Karu Mountain. It is located on the village of Suradadi - Belimbing in Tabanan, about 1,5 hour drive from Kuta, Sanur, Nusadua, Ubud or from Lovina. It is called the "Cempaka Belimbing Villas" at the original and authentic Balinese Village and people.
